Friendcasts is an event planning tool designed to facilitate social gatherings and foster meaningful connections among friends. It stands out from other similar apps by focusing solely on the social aspects of bringing people together, rather than functioning as a social media platform.

Planning gatherings can often be a challenging task, requiring organizers to individually message participants or create group chats that are not always easy to manage. Friendcasts offers a solution to this issue with features like "Ideas" that allow users to gauge interest in potential events in a pressure-free manner. Participants can simply indicate their interest with the press of a button. Once there is enough interest, the idea can smoothly transition into an official "Event," complete with a dedicated group chat, polling features, and a platform to upload event photos for lasting memories.

After an Event concludes, users can access it in their profile alongside past gatherings. This post-event space enables the continued uploading of photos while locking the group chat and polls to maintain focus on future Events and reduce unnecessary noise.
